Productive virtual lab instruction is essential to creating an industry-ready workforce with the skillsets to tackle tomorrow’s technology challenges. Keysight has created a series of labs and workspaces using PathWave System Design (SystemVue) to emulate waveform analysis labs typically done on hardware in a signals course.

These labs contain a workspace where the students generate a waveform, modify the parameters, and analyze the output. A corresponding lab guide walks through background information, learning objectives, using the workspaces, and suggested exercises. The labs can be used independently or supplement an instructor-led course.

There are four labs that leverage PathWave System Design:

Basic Waveforms
Amplitude Modulation
Frequency Modulation
Digital Modulation, also uses PathWave Vector Signal Analysis (VSA)

After completing the labs, you will understand:

Types and parameters of waveforms
Modulation
Waveform analysis techniques
PathWave System Design and PathWave Vector Signal Analysis (VSA)
