Thomas Leifert is the global Business Development Manager for automotive cybersecurity solutions at Keysight Technologies in Germany. He joined HP as a wireless application engineer in 1997 and has held various positions in wireless communications and conformance test since then, supporting customers both from R&D and production. Over the last decade, Thomas has been dedicated to test solutions for automotive wireless applications and focussed on automotive cybersecurity for more than two years.

Thomas holds a diploma in Electronics Engineering/Communications Technology from the University of Stuttgart.

His background in computing, from software development to processor design, gives him a depth of understanding in sophisticated exploits. Focused for the past 6 years on defensive security in automotive ranging from embedded device/hardware design to vehicle architecture to cloud security, Brandon seeks to push the automotive industry to a more secure future to assure cyber-physical vehicles and their related infrastructure keep passengers safe. Outside of a variety of projects with OEMs and suppliers through Block Harbor, Brandon helps grow a global non-profit called the Automotive Security Research Group that’s focused on a community-driven approach to automotive security. Brandon is also one of the world’s youngest Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
