Summary
This webinar introduces the next generation WLAN standard, IEEE 802.11be, that is under development to achieve “extremely high throughput (EHT)” of at least 30 Gbps. EHT is achieved by increasing the bandwidth up to 320 MHz, modulation up to 4096QAM and number of spatial streams up to 16. Because of the wider bandwidth and higher order modulation schemes, engineers face new challenges in designing and testing their 802.11be components and devices. Some of the physical (PHY) layer design and test challenges will be discussed, and Keysight measurement solutions will be presented.
