Reduce EMI in Switched-Mode Power Supplies Design
Speaker: Uday Ramalingam, R&D Engineer, Keysight Technologies
Switched-mode power supply (SMPS) design is rapidly evolving with the emergence of wide bandgap semiconductors such as silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN) power devices. Higher switching speeds together with the layout of a printed circuit board (PCB) can become a source of electromagnetic interference (EMI). This challenge frustrates many power electronics designers. To overcome this challenge, a designer needs to identify potential EMI problems in simulation. Until now, this requires expertise in electromagnetics. In this seminar, we will discuss how to overcome this challenge.

Keysight has partnership with IPERA to introduce a curriculum around conducted EMI and its effects on SMPS design.

EMC Pre-Compliance Test - Do I need it?
Steve Narciso, Solution Architect, Keysight Technologies
To ensure safe operation, and to guarantee quality and accuracy, compliance testing is necessary to sell your device. A compliance test failure can delay produce introduction and add unplanned development expense.  Pre-compliance testing allows you to cost-effectively reduce your time to market by maximizing the success your product passing final compliance testing.
