Day One: In-Vehicle Communications

Day Two: Connected Car

Day Three: Electric Vehicles

Agenda

Day One: In-Vehicle Communication
Available on demand

Session 1 | Emerging Needs of High Speed and Signal Integrity in In-Vehicle Networks
The automotive industry is moving towards unified in-vehicle network standards to ensure component interoperability. Sony’s new image sensors push the bandwidth speeds higher, bringing with it challenges of signal integrity. Join Sony’s image sensor expert Junichiro Azami as he discusses the experiences and challenges Sony have learned through their image sensor developments.

Session 2 | Keysight High-Speed Test Solutions for Automotive SerDes In-Vehicle Network
Learn more from our experts on Keysight’s newly launched SerDes receiver test solution, besides the currently available transmitter and channel test solutions.
Day Two: Connected Car
Available on demand

Session 1 | Industry think tank: Multi-level approach to verify vehicle-road-cloud collaboration in smart transportation.
Vehicle-road-cloud collaboration accelerates the transformation and upgrading of vehicles in smart transportation. As one of the key supporting technologies, wireless communication has been applied to vehicles in several ways. In order to promote the forward R&D plan for a wireless system that meets the requirements, China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (Beijing) Research Institute Co., Ltd (CICV) proposes a multi-level solution, including antenna design & optimization, system integration & co-existence design, link quality evaluation, and function verification.

Session 2 | C-V2X application layer testing: Comparing KPIs of testing with SiL vs HiL.
Testing application layer performance is complex. Creating a software-in-the-loop (SIL) test environment will enable developers to test approx. 80% of the functionality of a system. However, when real RF hardware is introduced, several factors come into play which need to be tested. Comparing KPI's in a SIL and then a HIL environment allows these factors to be tested.

Session 3 | From the road to the lab: Validation of ADAS / AD functions with real sensors.
Creating safe and robust automated driving systems for future vehicles is a complex task. The software algorithms enabling ADAS features need to synthesize the information collected from sensors to ensure vehicles respond appropriately. These algorithms require testing against complex scenes covering a wide variety of driving scenarios. Keysight introduced the Radar Scene Emulator (RSE) that enables validating ADAS algorithms by testing decisions earlier against repeatable, high-density scenes, in the lab.
Day Three: Electric Vehicles
CET Available on demand

Session 1 | Smart grid expert insights on meeting the latest vehicle-to-grid standards development worldwide.
UL 1741 is the primary standard for certifying power conversion hardware for photovoltaic inverters in the United States and some other countries. This standard has evolved over the years, and now covers various types of equipment used in distributed energy resources (DER) applications, including the electric vehicle and photovoltaic inverter (PV) ecosystems. Join UL vehicle-to-grid (V2G) standards expert Tim Zgonena as he discusses the evaluation of safety standards for the rapidly growing DER and distributed energy resources (DER) industry.

Session 2 | Panel discussion on accelerating grid-edge applications to drive EV adoption.
Diverse global EV charging standards make it complicated for EV and EV supply equipment (EVSE) manufacturers to ensure global compliance of interconnection with local grids. Join our panel of Keysight experts, who will dive into the design and test challenges posed by evolving V2G standards, and ways to solve these challenges.
