Day 1: Validate 5G Device Performance

Demo 1. Verify 5G Device Performance
Validating 5G devices under a wide range of real-world network signaling and radio channel conditions is essential to ensure consumer satisfaction down the line. In this demonstration, you will learn how to create and run measured field scenarios in the lab using Keysight’s S8709A Virtual Drive Test Toolset that leverages the UXM 5G network emulator and the PROPSIM channel emulator.

Demo 2. Secure 5G Devices
The security of 5G devices is one of the top concerns for device makers and end users. In this demonstration, we will assess the security of a device connected to a 5G cellular network using Keysight’s IoT Security Assessment solution along with the UXM 5G network emulator. We will show you how to scan for known and unknown vulnerabilities and use deep packet inspection (DPI) to identify the baseline of expected device communications.

Demo 1. Automate gNB Conformance
Conformance test requirements and test methods continue to evolve. Join this session for a background on 3GPP and O-RAN conformance testing and key challenges, followed by a demonstration of Keysight’s P7000A base station measurement automation solution performing a series of Chapter 6 and Chapter 7 conformance tests on an open radio unit (O-RU) tested in isolation.

Evaluate and benchmark the performance of 5G devices, base stations and O-RAN systems in your lab fast. Demo 1. Benchmark 5G Networks with In-Building and Drive Testing
As broad-scale 5G deployment accelerates across the globe, benchmarking activities that compare different operators’ networks are ramping up. Watch this demo to learn how to measure, optimize, and benchmark 4G/5G wireless networks for quality of experience (QoE) cost-effectively and reliably, in both indoor and outdoor environments, using Keysight’s new Nemo Backpack Pro and Network Benchmarking (NBM) solutions.

Demo 2. Field-Test 5G Cell Sites
5G OTA signals are significantly more complex than 4G LTE. In addition, 5G signals need to use 4G as an anchor in most network rollouts. This 5G OTA scanning demonstration uses Keysight’s FieldFox solution to perform beam index and coverage testing, check dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) with LTE and non-standalone (NSA) mode operation, and troubleshoot for network interference.

Demo 3. 6G Sub-THz Testbed
Studying sub-terahertz (THz) frequencies is critical to advance 6G development. Researchers need to gain knowledge of channel propagation characteristics to understand the system performance possible in these frequency bands and modulation bandwidths. This demonstration walks you through a 6G test setup and how to perform 6G channel sounding measurements.
